Our place is at Line No. 158 in Poonga Nagar, near the Civil Aerodrome. You can hear the planes taking off and landing pretty clearly from our office, which was exciting at first but now we hardly notice it. Being close to the aerodrome is actually quite helpful for an impex business because it reminds us of how connected everything is. We have been operating from this location for several years and it has become like a second home to us. The building is older and has its quirks, like a door that sticks in the rainy season, but we like it anyway. We spend the bulk of our time on the phone or on the computer, tracking where our shipments are and making sure everything is moving as it should. It isn't a glamorous job by any means. There is a lot of dust and heavy lifting involved when the trucks come to the gate. We take pride in just getting the work done without complaining too much about the heat or the long hours. We don't have a big mission statement or any fancy goals, we just want to keep the business running and make sure the people we work with are satisfied with what we do. It’s a straightforward way to live and work, and it keeps us busy enough to stay out of trouble.
