We are set up at No. 26 in Karpaga Vinayaka Nagar, which is over in the Vadavalli area of Coimbatore. This is a good place for a business like ours because there are so many farms nearby. Broilay Farm Services Private Limited focuses on the practical side of helping farmers. It is a lot of visiting different sites and talking to people about their livestock. The office in Vadavalli is where we keep all our records and meet up before we head out for the day. It is not a shiny corporate space at all. There are usually some muddy boots near the door and a lot of maps pinned to the walls. We started this because we saw that local farmers often needed a bit of extra help with the technical side of things. We are not here to tell anyone how to do their job, just to offer a hand when they get stuck. The weather in Coimbatore is usually okay, but the wind can get pretty strong sometimes. We spend a lot of our time on the road, going from one farm to another. Back at the office, things stay pretty quiet. We have a small staff and we all know each other well. It feels more like a small family than a regular business most of the time.
