Our spot is at Number 105 on Velleakinaru Road, over in Thudiyalur. It’s a local operation, and I’m usually the one you’ll see if you drop by. Being in Thudiyalur, we get a lot of people from the neighborhood coming in for their small building needs. It’s not a huge corporation or anything like that. It’s more of a personal setup where we know a lot of the customers by name. The road can get busy during the commute, but otherwise, it’s a fairly steady place to work. We deal with cement bags and the usual stuff you need for masonry. The storage area isn't massive, so we have to stay on top of the orders to make sure we don’t run out of space or stock. It gets a bit tiring moving everything by hand, but it’s what needs to be done. I usually start early to beat the heat, getting the inventory checked before the first people show up. The shop is pretty basic. Just a desk, some chairs, and stacks of bags behind us. It’s honest work, I think. We don’t have any big slogans or shiny posters. People come here because they know we’re on Velleakinaru Road and we have what they need for their house projects. It’s just how we’ve always done it here in this part of town.
