Balakrishna Engineers

Our shop, Balakrishna Engineers, is tucked away at No.8A on Avinashi Road. We are right near the Dar Kalyana Mandapam, which is a big landmark around here in Chinniampalayam. When there is a wedding at the hall, the traffic gets pretty backed up, and we can hear the music and the crowds while we are working on our machines. R.G. Pudur is a decent area for a business like ours. It is not too far from the main city but has its own local feel. The workshop is a bit cramped at times because we have quite a few pieces of equipment squeezed into the floor space. We have been operating here for a bit, and people in the neighborhood know where to find us. It’s a straightforward setup. We have the work benches, the heavy tools, and usually a few guys busy with some project or another. It can get quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the doors open to catch whatever breeze comes off the road. We aren't big on meetings or fancy paperwork. Most of the time, someone just walks in with a part that needs fixing or a sketch of something they need built. We take a look, figure it out, and get started. It’s a simple way of working that has suited us fine over the years. No big corporate structure, just a local engineering place trying to keep things moving day by day.
