Aztech Precision Tools

Aztech Precision Tools is found over at 7/38-1 on Athipalayam Road. We are in the Chinnavedampatti area, near Ganapathy. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of small shops like ours. We spend our days making tools that have to be just right. The machines hum all day long, and the smell of cutting oil is pretty much stuck in our clothes now. We don't have a big fancy lobby with a receptionist. You just walk in and someone will probably be there at a workbench. Sometimes we have to shout over the sound of the grinders. It’s a practical environment. We have a few cupboards for the finished tools and a lot of scrap metal in bins waiting to be moved. The floors are concrete and they’ve seen better days, with a few cracks here and there. We don't mind it though. It feels like a place where things actually get made. Athipalayam Road is always busy, so there’s a constant backdrop of motorbikes and horns. We take our breaks when we can, usually sitting on some stools near the entrance to catch a bit of a breeze. We are just a group of people who know how to handle precision work without making a big deal out of it. We stay busy and we stay local, and that’s plenty for us.
