Anchor Standard Enterprises

Our shop is at No. 715 on Trichy Road in Ramanathapuram. It is a busy stretch of road, so there is always a lot of noise from the passing buses and motorcycles. We opened up here because it was a convenient spot for local people to drop by. We handle various standard items that folks in the area need for their own businesses or their houses. The space inside is a bit tight because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand at all times. Sometimes you have to step over a few boxes or crates to get to the main counter. We do not mind the clutter though; it just means we have what people are looking for. The staff is just a few of us who have lived in this part of town for a long time. We know the local rhythms and the people who walk by every day. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit when it is on high, but it keeps the air moving during the really hot months. We do not really do much in the way of fancy displays or bright lights. If someone needs a specific part or item, we just go find it in the back room. It is a very practical way of doing things. We try to keep our prices fair and our word good. Some days are slow, and we just sit and watch the traffic, but other days we are on our feet until the shutters go down for the night.
