Ananthapadmanaban Subramanian

If you are ever in Coimbatore, you might find yourself on Dr. Balasundaram Chettiar Road. I am Ananthapadmanaban Subramanian and my place is called Vaishnavi Kripa, located at number 130. It’s a solid building that has been around for a while. I spend most of my time here, surrounded by books and files that have slowly piled up over the years. Coimbatore is a place where people value hard work, and I try to stick to that. My routine is pretty much the same every day. I arrive, open the windows to let the breeze in, and start going through whatever needs my attention. It’s not a high-pressure environment. I like to take my time and make sure things are done correctly. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, but once you close the door, it’s easy to focus. I don’t believe in having a lot of fancy decorations. I just have what I need to do the job. Neighbors often stop by to say hello, and we might share a cup of tea if the work isn't too pressing. It’s a very local way of living and working. I’ve seen the city change a lot from this window, but Vaishnavi Kripa stays pretty much the same. It’s a reliable spot in a busy world.
