Affirmative Tech Ventures Pvt.Ltd. is based at No.20 in Krishna Nagar, which is right by the Chinna Radio Station. It’s a fairly quiet spot compared to some of the bigger commercial areas, which is nice when you’re trying to concentrate on tech work. The radio station is a good landmark, so when we tell people where we are, they usually get it pretty quickly. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a regular building in a residential-looking neighborhood. We’ve got our computers set up and enough space for a small group of us to sit around and work on whatever project is currently on the table. Sometimes it gets a bit cluttered with cables and spare parts, but that’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with technology ventures. We don't really do the whole polished corporate image; we’re just a group of people who like working on this stuff. We take our tea breaks together and usually talk about things other than work just to clear our heads. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, though we do stay busy most of the time. Being in Krishna Nagar feels like being part of a local neighborhood rather than a cold business district. We’ve been at No.20 for a while and don't really have any plans to move elsewhere. It’s a simple, functional place that lets us do our work without any unnecessary distractions or corporate fluff. It works for us. We just come in, do the work, and then we head off.
