Sri Vinayaka Iron Mart

We are located at 565 M.G. Auto Nagar in Nagarajupeta. If you know the area, it’s mostly automotive shops and small industries. Our shop deals with iron, so it’s a very heavy kind of work. The storefront is open to the street, and we have long rods and sheets of iron leaning against the walls. It’s a bit dark inside because the building is deep. We use a lot of chalk to mark things and our clothes are always covered in orange rust or black dust. Sri Vinayaka Iron Mart has been a part of this street for a long time. People around here know us as the place where you can get your iron cut to size. We don't have any fancy brochures. We just write down the measurements on a piece of scrap paper and get to work. It’s a noisy place with the sound of metal clanging against metal all day long. The office is just a wooden desk with a big ledger and a calculator. We do everything by hand mostly. Sometimes the traffic on the road gets so loud we have to shout to hear each other. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of shop. We just provide the iron that people need for their construction or repairs and that’s about it for us. The shop stays open until the sun goes down and the street gets quiet. Then we lock up the heavy gates and head home. That is the daily routine here at Sri Vinayaka Iron Mart.
