Our place is located at 85/7/85 on the Varadaiahpalem Road in Chinnapandur. It is a bit out of the way from the main city, which is actually fine because we need the extra space for all the steel plate processing we do. Indian Metal One Steel Plate Processing Pvt. Ltd. is a long name for a business, but we mostly just think of it as the shop or the yard. The road outside is often very busy with heavy trucks carrying big loads in and out. It gets quite dusty around here, especially when the wind picks up across the open ground nearby. We have a lot of heavy machinery for cutting and handling the large metal plates. It is loud work and you have to wear your protective gear all day long. The sun beats down on the metal roof, so it stays pretty warm inside the facility. We have a small area where we sit for lunch and take a few breaks from all the noise. Chinnapandur isn’t a huge place, so everyone kind of knows when a big shipment is arriving or leaving. We spend our days measuring, cutting, and checking the edges of the steel. It is straightforward work, nothing too complicated to explain to others, but it takes a lot of patience to get the plates right. We don't have a fancy lobby or any air conditioning in the main work area. It is just us.
