Sri Vasavi Steel Corporation

Our place is at Plot No. 8-49/2, right on the Mr Palli Bypass Road. It’s a busy spot because of all the traffic coming off the bypass. Sri Vasavi Steel Corporation has been operating from here for a good few years now. Steel is heavy and tricky to move, so our days are mostly spent coordinating the cranes and the loaders. The sun hits the metal in the afternoon and makes the whole yard really hot, but that’s just how it is working outside. We handle a lot of rods and beams for different projects around the area. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. Most of our customers are contractors who are in a hurry to get back to their sites. We try to keep the paperwork simple so they can get in and out quickly. The bypass road gets noisy with all the lorries, but you get used to it after a week or two. Sometimes we sit outside under the shade of the small office roof to have our tea. It’s a practical business, nothing too complicated. We don’t have a big marketing team or a shiny website. It’s just us here on the plot, making sure the steel gets to where it needs to go. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot since we set up shop on this road. It keeps us on our toes every day.
