Ratnakar Marbles Private Limited

We are located in the RIICO Industrial Area at Ajoliya Ka Khera, specifically at Plot F-106 and 107. Being near the railway line in the Gangrar block means we hear the trains go by all day long. It’s a big industrial spot, so there’s always a lot of noise and machines running. We handle large quantities of marble here. The blocks come in from the quarries and we have to move them around with the heavy machinery. It’s a dusty place to work, even with the water sprays we use. My shirt is usually grey by the time I leave. We have a lot of workers from the nearby villages who help with the cutting and the polishing. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to wait for a mechanic to come out from the city, which slows everything down. But that’s just part of being in an industrial area. We have been at this site for quite some time, and we know the layout of the yard by heart. It’s not a pretty place, but it’s where the work gets done for Ratnakar Marbles Private Limited. People come from all over the district to pick out their stone. We spend our time checking the slabs for cracks and making sure the shipments are loaded correctly onto the trucks before they head out on the road.
