Shobhansarkar Bio Energy Farmer Producercompany Limited is based out of P.O. Manikpur. Our office is actually at House Number 1, where Gyan Singh lives. We are a group of farmers who decided to get into the bio-energy side of things. It’s a small operation. We don't have a big staff or a fancy building with an elevator. It’s just a house in Manikpur where we meet to talk about the farm work and the energy projects. Gyan Singh keeps the records at his place. Most of the time, we are out in the fields or checking on the bio-energy equipment. It is not an easy job because there is always something that needs fixing or a new regulation we have to read about. We aren't experts in writing about ourselves. We just know how to work the land. The name Shobhansarkar means a lot to us locally, so we wanted to include it. If you come to Manikpur, it’s easy to find House Number 1. We are usually around if you need to talk about producer business. We don't have a website or anything like that, just our presence here in the village. It’s a lot of work to keep a farmer producer company going, but we manage by helping each other out. We keep things plain and simple. No big speeches or goals, just making sure the bio-energy work gets done day by day and the crops are healthy.
