Thaukri Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our small group is Thaukri Farmer Producer Company Limited. We are based out of Rajesh Muchahary’s place in Ulubari village. That’s in the Manikpur area of Bongaigaon, Assam. We are just local farmers who decided to team up. There isn't much to say about a big office because we don't have one. We are usually found in the fields around Ulubari. The work is tough and the sun is hot most days. We grow various crops depending on what the season allows. Most of us have been doing this since we were kids. It’s just the way of life here in this part of Bongaigaon. We don't use any fancy business talk. We just want to get our work done and look after our land. Just a few of us trying to make the farming business work better for everyone in the village. We share our resources and try to help each other out when things get difficult. The rain can be a problem sometimes, but we manage. It’s a simple operation run by people who actually know how to farm. We don't spend much time inside. Most of our life is spent outdoors with the crops.
