Most of the time, we are busy thinking about the next season and if the rain will come at the right time. There is a lot of waiting involved in farming, as anyone from around here can tell you. We don't have fancy brochures or a website that looks like a magazine. We just have our hands and the land. It’s hard work, and your back usually hurts by the end of the day. But we do it because it’s what we’ve always done. We got together to make things a little easier on each other. If one of us has a problem, the others try to help out. That’s the whole point of having this company. It's about staying together in a place like Kukurmari and making sure we can keep farming for another year without going broke. We are just practical people doing what needs to be done.
