Ringkhang Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Boldigaon, specifically Village No. 2. We are situated in the Borobazar area of Bongaigaon district. Abinash Iswary handles the coordination at his address. We are a bunch of local farmers from this part of Assam. Farming isn't just a job for us; it’s our life. We grow a variety of crops depending on what time of year it is. The work is tough and the days are long, but we like being our own bosses. Forming this company was a way for us to stay connected and help each other with the harvest. There are many families in Boldigaon who rely on the land. We wanted to make sure we have a voice when it comes to selling what we grow. It’s a quiet village life for the most part. We don't use big words or have complicated plans. We just plant, tend, and harvest. Bongaigaon is a nice place to live if you like the outdoors and hard work. We meet up at Abinash’s place to discuss what needs doing next. Sometimes we worry about the market prices, but mostly we just focus on the ground in front of us. It’s a simple way of living and we wouldn't have it any other way. We are just people from the village working together to keep the local agriculture going. We help each other out when the floods come or when the harvest is heavy.
