Shree Giriraj Engineering Works

Shree Giriraj Engineering Works is sitting right at Plot No. 639. It is a busy little corner of the world for us. We have various machines like drills and lathes taking up most of the floor space. There is not much room for walking around once we have a few projects going at the same time. The air usually smells like burnt metal and cutting oil, which is pretty standard for an engineering shop. We take on a lot of small jobs from people around here who need something fixed or a specific part made from scratch. The windows are a bit dusty and do not let in much light, so we have some bright lamps hanging over the work areas. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend the morning fixing our own tools instead of working on orders, which is frustrating but part of the life. We keep all our drill bits and wrenches in old wooden boxes. It is not the cleanest place, but we know where every single nut and bolt is located. We usually have a small radio playing in the background, though you cannot hear it much over the grinding. It is a decent place to work if you do not mind getting your clothes stained. We just focus on getting the dimensions right and making sure the metal is smooth before we call the job finished.
