Mahalaxmi Engineering

You can find Mahalaxmi Engineering at Plot No. 314. We are right across the road from Lucky Industries, which is a pretty big place so it makes us easy to find. Our workshop is usually full of the sounds of metal hitting metal and machines running. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, so most of us have grease on our hands by noon. The floor is concrete and has seen a lot of wear over the years from heavy parts being moved around. We have a small office area tucked in the corner where we keep the ledgers and the telephone, but most of the action happens out on the main floor. The rain can be pretty loud on the metal roof during the monsoon season, making it hard to hear each other talk. We just shout a bit louder or wait for a break in the clouds. There is a small chai stall just down the road where we go when we need a break from the noise. Our neighbors at Lucky Industries are always busy too, so there is a constant flow of vehicles on the street outside. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. People just know where we are because we’ve been at Plot 314 for a long time. The work is hard and it gets hot during the summer months, but we have some fans going to keep the air moving. It’s a straightforward operation where we build things.
