Our office is tucked away on Vanniyar Street in Choolaimedu. The address can be a bit confusing because of the old and new numbering, but we are at New No. 184. It's an old building, but it works for what we do. We write software here. It’s a lot of sitting in front of screens and trying to figure out why code isn't doing what it's supposed to. We have a few rooms filled with desks and a tiny pantry where the coffee machine usually needs a good kick to start. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. People here are mostly local folks who commute by bus or bike. We aren't trying to be the next big thing, we just have projects to finish and deadlines that keep us busy. Sometimes the street noise from Vanniyar Street gets a bit loud, especially with the bikes zooming past, but we've learned to tune it out. It’s a plain place. No bean bags or ping pong tables. Just people working. We started out small and stayed that way because it's easier to manage things. We know our neighbors and the guys at the local stalls. Usually, we're just focused on the day's list. If something breaks, we fix it. If a client calls with a question, we answer. That’s pretty much how the day goes for us in Choolaimedu. We aren't fancy, just practical about how we spend our time.
