You & We - Safety Design

You & We - Safety Design is located at No: 3, Yogalakshmi Flats. We are on Balasundaram Street, just off the Puzhuthivakkam Main Road. Puzhuthivakkam is a place where things are a bit more relaxed than the city center. Our office is inside a residential flat, so it doesn't feel like a cold corporate environment. We work on safety designs, which involves a lot of planning and looking at layouts. It is quiet for the most part, except for the usual sounds of the neighborhood. We don't have a big sign or a lobby with a receptionist. You just come to the flat and find us at work. We have our desks set up with all our drawings and notes. It is a small operation, just a few of us who know each other well. We have been here on Balasundaram Street for some time. We like being in a spot that feels like a home. It makes the workday feel a bit less like a grind. We don't use a lot of technical jargon when we talk to people. We just explain things in a way that makes sense to us and them. The main road is close enough if we need to get somewhere quickly, but we are tucked away enough to focus on the projects. It’s a simple setup that suits the kind of work we do. We just keep doing our bit every day without making a fuss.
