Wyntronix Innovations is based in the Golden Rays Business Centre over on Lake View Road. West Mambalam is one of those parts of Chennai that always feels crowded, no matter what time it is. Our office is at 29 A, and being in a business centre means there are always people coming and going from different companies. It can get a bit hectic in the hallways, but we’re used to it. The Lake View Road area has its own charm, even if the traffic is a nightmare sometimes. We spend a lot of time at our desks staring at screens. Since we’re an innovation-focused company, you might expect something high-tech looking, but it’s actually pretty plain. We have the usual computers, some tangled wires under the desks, and a water cooler that makes a loud glugging sound every ten minutes. The "Golden Rays" name makes the building sound more prestigious than it is, but it’s a solid place to work. Lunch breaks usually involve walking out to find some food nearby. There are plenty of small eateries around West Mambalam that serve good tiffin. We often talk about the projects while walking through the heat. Back inside, the air conditioning is our best friend. It’s a simple routine of coming in, doing the work, and heading back out into the Lake View Road bustle. We’ve been here long enough that the security guards know us by name, and that makes it feel a bit more like home.
