Welcome Hotel

Welcome Hotel is situated at No 112 on Purasaiwakkam High Road. Most people know the area because of Madhar Sha, which is quite close to us here in Vepery. We have been operating out of this building for a good while. Chennai can get very hot, so the shade inside the lobby is always a relief for people coming in from the street. The address is easy to find once you are on the main road. We have several floors of rooms and a lift that works most of the time. The staff here mostly stays behind the counter or moves around the hallways with towels and water bottles. It is a busy part of town, Purasawalkam Vepery, so there is never really a quiet moment outside. You can hear the buses and the motorbikes from the front rooms. We don't do anything too fancy with the decor, it is just basic furniture and white walls. The 600007 area is convenient for travelers because everything is nearby. We keep a ledger for the check-ins and check-outs. Sometimes people forget their umbrellas or chargers and we keep them in a box behind the desk. It’s just a regular hotel where people stay for a night or two when they have business in the city. We wake up early to start the day and the night watchman takes over once it gets dark. It is just a part of the daily life on High Road.
