We are located on the 4th floor of East Coast Chambers, right at No. 92 G. N. Chetty Road in T. Nagar. Being in T. Nagar means it’s always crowded outside, and finding a place to park is a nightmare. The elevator in this building has a mind of its own sometimes, so a few of us just take the stairs if we’re not carrying anything heavy. Our office is designated as "R" on the floor plan. It’s not a huge space, but we have enough room for the desks and the files. Since we’re up on the 4th floor, we get a decent view of the street, though it’s mostly just roofs and more traffic. Inside, it’s a bit quieter than the street, but you can still hear the horns honking down below. We have a lot of technical manuals lying around because of the water jet equipment we deal with. It’s not a very polished place; the carpet is a bit thin and the desks are mismatched. Most of our day is spent on the phone or looking at spec sheets. We have a small pantry where we make tea, and that’s usually where the best conversations happen. We don't have a big corporate feel here. It’s just a handful of people trying to keep up with the workload. We leave when the work is done, usually as the sun is setting over the city.
