R.R. Industries

R.R. Industries is located at 11 Anjaneyar Koil Street in West Saidapet. We are tucked into the Raja Naickar Thottam area, which is a very lively part of Chennai. The street is quite narrow, and there is always something going on outside, whether it is the sounds from the nearby temple or just the general buzz of the neighborhood. Our workshop is a functional space where we get things done. It is often quite hot and humid, and the old fans we have mostly just move the warm air around while we work. We have been at this address for a long time, and the people living nearby are used to the clanging and humming sounds coming from our building. We are not corporate people who spend time in meetings. Most of our day is spent on our feet, looking over the machines or moving heavy stock from one corner to another. The concrete floor is hard and shows its age, but that is the reality of this kind of work. We do not use fancy English or have any big slogans on the walls. We just show up every day, handle the tasks that are waiting for us, and then go home. Sometimes we take a break to have tea with the other shopkeepers on the street. It is a small operation, but it keeps us busy and we take things one day at a time.
