Our place, Proteck Circuits & Systems Pvt. Ltd., is situated at Number 15 on Medavakkam Road in Sholinganathur. It’s a fairly busy road, and we’ve been here quite a while now. We deal with circuits and systems, which means there’s often a lot of small components and soldering irons lying around. It’s not the kind of work you can rush, so the atmosphere is usually pretty focused. The office part is small, and most of our room is taken up by testing equipment and assembly tables. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud, but we mostly tune it out. We aren't really into the whole corporate culture thing. We prefer to just get on with the technical side of things. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the wires and parts boxes everywhere. Sholinganathur has changed a lot since we started, but we’ve stayed in the same spot. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. If you need to find us, the address is pretty clear on Medavakkam Road. Most of our staff have been with us for years, so we know how each other works. It’s a practical setup for the type of electronics work we handle daily. We just focus on making sure the systems we build actually work like they are supposed to. Sometimes we lose a screw on the floor and everyone has to stop and look for it. It's just a normal day for us.
