Velrajan

Down here on Adhi Kasava Perumal Kovil St in West Mambalam, things move at their own pace. We are located at number 51, right near the temple area. Velrajan started this up and we’ve just stayed put in Chennai-33 ever since. It’s a cramped little street sometimes, especially when there’s a festival or a lot of people heading to the Kovil. We like it though. It feels like home. The office isn't anything special to look at. Just some chairs, a few old files, and us working through the day. We don't go in for all those modern business trends you see online. Most of our day is just handling what comes our way and making sure we don't fall behind. The tea shop around the corner is where we usually end up when we need a break. It's nice to be in a neighborhood where everyone knows each other’s business. If you walk past, you might hear us talking or see the light on late if we have a lot to finish. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who know the routine. It’s been this way for a long time. We don't see any reason to change it now. We just keep the door open and stay busy with the tasks on the table. It’s simple work but it keeps us going. Most of the time we just have the radio on low while we look through the ledgers. It’s not a fast life.
