Vectrapak

Vectrapak is over at C-21 in the Industrial Estate in Guindy. This area has been around for ages, and our building definitely shows its age a bit, but it serves us just fine for what we do. Inside, it’s mostly about the packing machines and the rolls of material piled up against the walls. The air usually smells a bit like plastic and paper, and there is a constant rhythmic thumping sound from the equipment running in the back. We have a small team here, and most of us have been working together for a long time, so we don’t really have to talk much to know what needs to be done next. The office is right by the entrance, and it’s usually cluttered with samples and half-finished shipping labels. Guindy is a crowded place, so getting things in and out can be a bit of a headache with the traffic, but we manage to make it work. We start early to beat the worst of the heat, though by mid-afternoon, it gets pretty warm in the warehouse area. There isn't any fancy lounge or anything for visitors, just a couple of plastic chairs if someone needs to wait for a pickup. We just focus on keeping the machines maintained and making sure the orders are boxed up properly before the trucks arrive at the end of the day. It’s not a glamorous job, but we’ve stayed busy here for years.
