Our place at number 21 is where all the tooling work happens. It’s a tight space, but we make it work. The humidity in Chennai can be brutal, so the fans are always going. We spend our time looking at small parts and tools. It’s precise work, so your eyes get tired by the end of the shift. We aren't some big multinational with a lobby. It’s just a shop where people work hard. We have some old machines that still run better than the new ones. There’s usually a pile of metal shavings near the back door.
