Vasanthi Exim Private Limited is located on Thambu Chetty Street in Chennai. We are at New No. 89, which people used to know as Old No. 45. If you have ever been to this part of the city, you know it is always packed with people and shops. It is the center of the trading district and we have been here for a good long time. Our work involves exporting and importing different goods that come through the port nearby. It is a lot of waiting for clearances and dealing with various forms. Our office is in one of the older buildings on the street. It has high ceilings and you can always hear the horns honking outside. We do not have a fancy lobby or a bunch of marketing materials lying around. It is just a place with desks and phones where we try to keep track of where everything is. Our staff knows the 600001 area very well and we have been through many seasons together. We spend our days tracking containers and talking to agents. Sometimes things get stuck or delayed, and we have to figure out a way to fix it. We are not into big speeches or trying to look bigger than we are. We just show up, do the work, and go home.
