We are located at No. 70 on Mannarswamy Koil Street. Royapuram is a busy place, and our street is no different. It’s got that old-town feel where everyone knows everyone else. We spend our days dealing with agricultural goods. It’s mostly about seeds, grains, and whatever the local farmers or smaller shops need at the time. The building is an older one, and the walls have seen a lot of seasons. We usually have sacks stacked up near the entrance, and there is always a bit of dust in the air from the produce. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the big shutter halfway down to keep the sun out. We don’t have a fancy website or a big sales team. Most people just walk in or call us because they’ve been coming here for years. My desk is covered in old notebooks and receipts because I still like writing things down by hand. It feels more reliable that way. We talk to the truck drivers who bring the loads in and the locals who just need a few bags of something. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy from morning till evening. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat for a minute while we are sorting stock. It’s that kind of neighborhood. We just try to keep the stock moving and make sure the quality is decent enough for the price.
