Usman Traders

Our shop is Usman Traders, and you can find us located at 18/1 on Anna Salai. It’s right near the Jawans Market, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving around right outside our door. This part of the city never really seems to stay quiet for long. We have been at this address for quite a long time now. The building is an older one, and the walls have seen better days, but it’s home for our business. We deal with all sorts of trading goods. Every morning we open the heavy shutters and start moving things around to make space. It’s a bit of a squeeze inside with all the stock we have to keep. Sometimes it’s hard to find a place to even sit down because of the wooden crates. We don’t have a marketing team or anything fancy like that. People find us because they’re already shopping at the market or they’ve heard about us from a neighbor. The rent goes up and the street gets more crowded, but we just keep showing up. We have a few regular customers who come by just to chat for ten minutes before they even think about buying anything. It’s a real community thing. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. It’s just a trade business on a very busy street. We work hard, we close up late, and then we come back and do it all again the next day. It's what we know how to do here.
