Amco Batteries

You can find us, Amco Batteries, at the Addison Building on the first floor. We’re specifically at Plot No. 803. It’s an older building, has some character to it, I guess. We spend most of our time dealing with batteries and making sure folks get what they need for their vehicles or machines. It’s heavy work sometimes. Moving these things around keeps us busy. The office isn’t anything special to look at, just a place to work and talk to customers. Being on the first floor is handy because we don’t have to lug stuff up too many stairs, which is a relief. We've seen a lot of people come and go from this building over the years. It gets a bit noisy with the street traffic outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. We just keep our heads down and do the work. There's always something to do, whether it's checking stock or answering the phone. We aren't really into the whole corporate vibe; we just run the shop and try to be helpful. The lighting in the back could be better, but it works for what we need. It’s just a regular local business life. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of the orders. If you come by, you’ll probably see a few stacks of crates near the entrance. That’s just how it is. We’ve got a small break area where we sit when things slow down, but that doesn't happen too often. Dealing with car and truck batteries is just what we know.
