Our office is located at 159, T T K Road, Alwarpet, Chennai- 600 018, Tamil Nadu, India. It’s a pretty central part of the city, so there is always a lot of traffic and people moving about outside. Nelcast has been around for quite a while, and this building has been our base for many of those years. Inside, it's a bit of a maze with different departments tucked away in various corners. We deal with iron castings and heavy industrial stuff, though the actual foundry work happens elsewhere. Here at the Alwarpet office, it's more about the planning and the paperwork. The building is older, with high ceilings and those big windows that let in the Chennai sun. We don't have a lot of modern bells and whistles. It’s just desks, computers, and people trying to get through their to-do lists. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the tea vendor comes around or when there’s a celebration in the street nearby. We’ve seen the neighborhood change from quiet houses to busy shops and cafes, but our routine stays mostly the same. We come in, check the production reports from the plants, and handle the logistics. It’s a steady kind of life. We don't make a big fuss about things, we just keep the business moving along day by day. That is just how we work here in Chennai.
