Our office is over at 4 Parthasarthy Pillai Street in R K Nagar, Chennai. The zip code is 600021. We called the company Unitive Technologies Private Limited. Chennai is a big, crowded city and our street is no different. There is always someone moving around or a bike going past the window. Inside our space, it’s mostly just us and a lot of tangled wires under the desks. We do various types of technology work. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees. It is just a handful of us who know a bit about computers. We don't have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just try to get the tasks done. The office gets quite warm in the afternoon so the air conditioner is almost always running. We have a small corner where we keep some snacks and a water jar. Sometimes we get stuck on a problem and we just walk down the street to clear our heads. The neighborhood is okay, and we know the shopkeepers nearby. We don't really do much to promote ourselves. Most of our work comes from people we already know. It is a practical way to run things. We just keep our heads down and focus on the software. It’s a normal job for us and we just take it one day at a time.
