Our office is tucked away on Appasamy Street over in the Pattalam area of Chennai. If you know Strahans Road, we aren't hard to find. We do a lot of tech work here at Hcl Technology, mostly fixing things and helping with software issues. The building is older but it suits us fine. There are wires running all over the place and someone is always trying to reboot a server. We started out small and just stayed in this neighborhood because we like the atmosphere. It’s busy outside with all the traffic, but inside we just focus on the screens. Most of us have been working with computers for a long time. We handle different kinds of technical requests that come in from all over. It’s not always easy because things break at the worst times. We spend a lot of time troubleshooting and testing stuff to make sure it works right. There’s no big secret to what we do, it’s just staying patient and looking at the code until the problem is gone. The guys here usually bring lunch from home and we eat while talking about the latest gadgets. It’s a regular workplace with regular people who happen to know a lot about technology. We’ve been at this 29/2 address for a while and the locals know us. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, but we keep going anyway.
