Being up here on the second floor of the Arcade Centre means we see a lot of what goes on in Nungambakkam High Road. It’s number 110/1, right in the thick of things. If you know this part of Chennai, you know it’s never quiet. The office itself is alright, nothing too special to look at. We have the usual tech setup with wires running along the baseboards and a few plants that someone forgets to water every other week. Working at Unipro Tech Solutions keeps us pretty busy most days. We spend a lot of time looking at screens or talking about software stuff that would probably bore most people. The air conditioning is a bit loud, but you need it with the heat outside. Lunch is usually something brought from home or a quick trip to one of the shops nearby. There’s a specific way the light hits the desks in the late afternoon that makes it hard to see the monitors, so we usually end up pulling the blinds. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a group of people in an office building trying to solve problems and stay on top of the schedule. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we take the stairs, which is probably good for us anyway. Sometimes we even order coffee from the place downstairs if we're feeling particularly tired on a Tuesday afternoon. It’s a practical space for practical work.
