Our small office is tucked away at number 4 on Anna Street, right in the Srinivasa Nagar part of Padi. If you know the area, you know it is a mix of homes and small shops, and it gets pretty humid in the afternoons. We spend most of our time dealing with boxes and packing materials. There is usually a bit of a mess in the corner where the tape rolls and sample sheets are kept, but we know where everything is. The fans stay on all day to keep the air moving while we sort through orders. It is a quiet street compared to the main road, which is nice because we can actually hear ourselves talk. Most of the staff live nearby, so we have been working together for a long time. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People just drop by when they need to figure out how to ship something or if they need custom packaging for their own products. Sometimes the delivery van gets stuck in the narrow lane, but the neighbors are used to it by now. We just do our work, drink our tea, and try to keep things moving. It isn't a complicated business, just about making sure things are wrapped up right so they don't break. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t need a big sign out front to stay busy.
