Ubisense Technologies

You can find our office on the first floor of Jacob Manor, which is located at No. 1d on Munirathinam Naidu Street in Aminjikarai. Ubisense Technologies has been based in this spot for a while now, and it suits the way we work. The street outside can get pretty busy with people and traffic, but it is usually fairly calm once you get upstairs. We have a small group of people working here. Everyone has their own desk and we mostly just stay focused on the technical work in front of us. It is not a very formal place. We talk about regular stuff while we work and there is no strict dress code or anything like that. We just want to get the jobs done right. Being in Aminjikarai is helpful because it is a central location for most of the staff. We spend a lot of time on our computers, dealing with various tech issues and projects. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to finish, but we try to keep a normal schedule. The office has a lived-in feel to it with stacks of papers and various gadgets lying around. We don't have a big receptionist or a lobby. If someone knocks, one of us just gets up to see who it is. It is a simple, honest way to run a business without any extra fluff.
