We are located at No-66 on Josier Street, right in the heart of Nunganbakkam. It’s an old neighborhood with lots of character, and our office is in a building that has seen many years. Trimex Minerals isn't a mine site; it's where we handle all the coordination and the mountains of paperwork that come with the mineral business. The street outside is usually lined with parked scooters, and it can be a bit of a squeeze to get a car through in the afternoons when everyone is busy. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of keyboards and the hum of the air units working hard. We deal with people from all over, talking about sand and ores and logistics over the phone. It’s not very glamorous work. There are files stacked on almost every flat surface, and the coffee machine is probably the most used thing in the whole place. We have a small team here, and everyone knows each other’s business quite well. We’ve been at this address for quite a while, so the local tea seller knows exactly how we like our drinks when we order them. Sometimes the power goes out, and we all just sit by the windows for a bit until the generator kicks in. It’s a regular office life, focusing on the details of the earth we move around the country.
