Our office for Toshniwal Industries Pvt. Ltd. is located at D-13 in the Narumukhai Apartments. We are tucked away in the Brindavan Nagar Extension on 2nd Street in the Adambakkam area. It’s a bit unusual to have an industrial business inside an apartment building, but it works for us. The street outside is mostly residential, so it’s relatively quiet compared to the main roads of Adambakkam. We use the space to manage our orders and keep track of our inventory. There are always boxes stacked up in the corners and files piled on the desks. Because we are in a residential area, we try to keep the noise down and be good neighbors. We spend a lot of time on the phone or on the computer, handling the administrative side of things. Sometimes we have to move equipment in and out, which can be a bit of a challenge in the apartment hallways, but we’ve figured out a system for it. It’s a very grounded way of working, without the flashiness of a big corporate headquarters. We take our work seriously, but we do it in a very relaxed, everyday kind of way. The local shops on 2nd Street are where we usually go for our breaks. It’s a nice little community here, and being based in Narumukhai Apartments makes our work life feel very much part of the neighborhood. We just keep our heads down and get the daily tasks done without any fuss.
