Yogesh Photography

Our studio, which is called Subashini Studio at 733 T.H Road Tondiarpet, is where Yogesh Photography does all its work. T.H Road is always moving, so there’s a lot of noise outside our door. Inside, we have those big umbrella lights and different colored rolls of paper for backgrounds. Most of the time, we are doing passport photos for people who are in a hurry to get to the government offices nearby. They sit on the small stool, we tell them to tilt their head a bit, and then we click. It’s funny how people get nervous in front of a camera. When we aren't doing that, we are out at weddings or family functions around Tondiarpet. We come back with hundreds of pictures and spend the night looking at the screen until our eyes get tired. The printer we have is a bit loud, but it makes good prints. We have some framed photos on the walls of local people from years ago, and some of them have faded a bit from the sun coming through the window. We keep our cameras in a dry box because the sea air around here can be tough on the lenses. It is a small business, and we mostly rely on people telling their friends about us. We don't do anything too fancy, just clear photos that help people remember their big days and the people they care about.
