Vithun Photography is over in the Poonamallee area of Tiruvallur, and we always tell people to look for the HDFC bank since it is right nearby. It is a handy landmark because otherwise, all these streets start to look the same after a while. The walk from the main road to the studio can be dusty, especially when the wind picks up. Inside, we have our gear laid out on the shelves, and there is usually a bunch of batteries charging in the corner. I spend a lot of time making sure the lenses are clean and that everything is packed in the bags for the next time we have to go out. The space itself is simple with a few chairs for people to sit and a large desk where the computer stays. It gets pretty warm in Tiruvallur, so we have a couple of fans that stay on all day long. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow when we are trying to upload photos, so we just sit and talk while we wait. There is a small shop around the corner that sells good snacks, and we end up there most afternoons. It is not a fancy corporate office, just a room where we do our work and keep our stuff. We like it that way because it is easy to manage and everyone knows where everything is. By evening, the area around the bank gets crowded.
