Thulasi Park Hotel

Thulasi Park Hotel is located right on Periyar Road in T Nagar. If you know Chennai, you know how busy T Nagar can get. We are at building number 21. It’s a practical place to stay or visit if you need to be in the heart of the city. We’ve been here for a while, watching the neighborhood change around us. The hotel isn't one of those massive glass buildings you see nowadays. It’s a more traditional setup. We have rooms for people traveling for work or coming to the city for shopping. T Nagar is famous for its shops, so we get a lot of people who are just here for the weekend. We don't have a fancy PR team writing our descriptions. We just do the daily work of keeping the rooms ready and helping guests when they arrive. The traffic on Periyar Road can be quite something during peak hours. You get used to the noise of the city after a while. We keep things functional. It’s about having a place to rest. We aren't trying to be a five-star luxury resort. We are a local hotel for regular people. The staff stays busy with the upkeep. It is a lot of work to run a place in such a busy district, but we enjoy being in the middle of it all. We don't do much marketing, mostly people just find us by walking by or through word of mouth.
