Thiruvalluvar Book Stall

We are located at 11-B on the ground floor of the Lilly Pond Complex in New Moore Market. If you’ve ever been to the market, you know it’s a bit of a maze with all the stalls and people looking for deals. Thiruvalluvar Book Stall has been a fixture here for a while. We aren't a large store, just a regular stall packed with as many books as we can fit on the shelves and even some stacked on the floor. The air in the complex can get a bit heavy when it’s hot outside, but we have a small table fan that helps. We get all kinds of people coming by, from students looking for cheap textbooks to older folks hunting for something they read years ago. Our books are a mix of new and old, so there’s a lot of searching involved. We don’t have a digital catalog or anything like that; we just know our stock by heart. The ground floor location is good because people don't have to climb stairs, though it does get a bit dusty from the foot traffic in the hallway. We spend most of our time chatting with customers or rearranging the piles so they don't fall over. It’s a simple life, and we like being part of the noise and bustle of Moore Market. We just open up the stall in the morning and see who comes by looking for a read.
