Paras Medical Books

You can find us over in Kilpauk at Shanmuga Bhavan. The address is a bit confusing because of the old and new numbering system, but we are at number 2 on Dr Vasudevan Road, right off Ormes Road. We mostly deal with medical texts and references. It’s a specific kind of shop, so we get a lot of students and doctors coming through the door. The shelves are packed pretty tight with thick volumes. We’ve been in this building for quite a while now. It’s not a large space, but we make use of every corner for storage. Sometimes the deliveries arrive and there’s hardly room to walk until we get everything shelved. We keep regular hours. If someone needs a particular medical manual, they usually give us a call or just drop in to see if it’s on the shelf. The area is usually busy with traffic, but once you get inside, it’s just stacks of books. We don't have any flashy displays or anything like that. It’s just a place to get the books you need for your studies or work. We know most of the regulars by name after all this time. It’s a steady job, keeping track of all these titles and making sure we have what people are looking for. Kilpauk is a good spot for us. We don't plan on moving anytime soon.
