Our place, Thejas Solar & Power Solution, is at No:107-F on B.B. Road in Perambur. It’s a busy street and we’ve been part of it for a bit now. We handle solar stuff and power backup systems because that’s what people around here need. Living in Perambur, you know how the power can be sometimes, so we try to provide things that actually work when the lights go out. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a regular storefront with some batteries and panels sitting around. We spend a lot of time on the road going to different houses or small shops to set things up. When we are back at the shop, we’re usually checking inventory or testing out new equipment to make sure it’s sturdy. We don't use big words or try to act like we’re some massive international company. We’re just local guys who understand how the local grid works and what hardware lasts the longest in this humidity. Sometimes we run out of a specific part and have to wait for a delivery, but we always tell people honestly how long it will take. It’s just how we run things. Most of our day is spent talking to neighbors about their power needs or fixing a system that someone else didn't install quite right. It’s honest work and it keeps us going despite the heat and the traffic on B.B. Road.
