Taj Motors

Taj Motors is a small shop located at 50 G P Lane. We are the first shop you’ll see when you come into the lane. It’s on Mount Road, right near Hotel Mughal. If you know that area, you know it’s always crowded with cars and people. Our shop is quite small, but we pack a lot into it. We mostly deal with motor parts and repair work. There’s usually a car or two parked right in front of the shop being worked on. The floor is often a bit greasy, and there are tools scattered around the workbenches. It’s a busy environment. We don't have a waiting room or anything fancy like that. Most customers just stand around and chat while we look at their vehicles. It gets quite hot in the lane during the afternoon, but we just keep working through it. The smell of petrol and oil is something we are used to. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and everyone around the Hotel Mughal area knows us. We don't use any big computers for our work; we mostly rely on what we see under the hood. It’s a very manual, hands-on business. Sometimes the lane gets blocked by delivery trucks, and everything slows down for a bit. But that’s just life on Mount Road. We keep the shop open late most days to finish up the jobs we started in the morning. It's just us and the cars every day.
