You can find Arkam Automobiles at Number 82 on Singanna Chetty Street. We are very close to Richie Street in the Chindatripet area, which is a place almost everyone in the city knows for parts and electronics. The street we are on is quite narrow and always filled with people on scooters or walking fast. Our shop is packed with all sorts of car parts. Sometimes it looks a bit messy because there are boxes stacked everywhere, but we actually know where most things are. It’s a dusty environment because of all the traffic and the old buildings around us. We are just a small group of people working here. Most of us have greasy hands by the end of the day from handling engine parts and oily components. We don't have a polished showroom. It’s more of a traditional counter service where you tell us what you need and we go find it in the back. Sometimes we have to dig through the stacks for a while to find a part for a rare model, but that’s just how it goes. We’ve been here a long time and have seen many shops come and go. We just keep doing our thing, chatting with the mechanics and making sure we have the parts people are looking for. It is loud and busy, but we are used to it. We just open up and work until it is time to close.
