Taj Connemara Hotel

No.2 Binny Road is where we spend most our days. It gets busy around here, especially in the mornings when folks are checking out of the Taj Connemara Hotel. We have this old building and it takes some work to keep it going. Some of us have worked here for years. You see a lot of people coming through. It isn't always quiet, but that's how it goes in this part of town. Sometimes the traffic outside is a bit much. We just focus on getting the rooms ready and making sure things work. It's a job like any other, really. We've got the 600002 zip code and it's right in the middle of things. The hallways are long and have that old feel to them. We try to keep the place tidy. There's always something to fix, maybe a leaky tap or a bulb that went out. That's just how it is with an old place like this. We don't make a big fuss. People come for a place to stay and we are here to open the door. It's just us working at No.2 Binny Road. The lobby furniture is a bit worn in places, but it's comfortable enough for waiting. We drink a lot of tea in the back room when things slow down. You get to know the sounds of the elevators and the way the wind whistles through the windows. It's home to us.
