Taiyeby Machinery Stores

Our shop is on Broadway, which is always a hectic place. We have the old number 99 and the new number 197, which sometimes confuses people, but we’ve been here at P B No 1665 long enough that most know where to go. Taiyeby Machinery Stores has been a part of this street for a long time. It’s a typical Broadway setup with narrow aisles and lots of heavy machinery stacked up. We deal with a lot of different types of equipment. Some of it is quite old, and some is newer. The street outside is always noisy with horns and people shouting, but inside we just focus on the work. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure the orders go out and the stock is where it should be. It’s a lot of lifting and moving things around. The building itself shows its age, but it’s sturdy. We keep our records in big ledgers and try to stay on top of things. People come from all over the city to this area for parts. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a reliable place where you can find what you need for a job. It's a lot of hard work and long hours, but we’re used to the rhythm of Broadway by now. Every day brings something new, even if it's just a different kind of engine to look at or a new face at the door.
